Following last week's topic on 'target setting, we will reflect on passion for learning this week. Since this is the value for the month of February, I hope this journal writing will enable you to give this value some thought.
To assist you in writing your reflection, I have listed some questions for you to ponder:
1. What do you understand by 'passion for learning' ?
2. Why do you think it is necessary for people to have a passion for learning?
3. Do you know of any family members, famous people, relatives or friends with a passion for learning?
4. How do they show their passion for learning?
5. Do you think you have a passion for learning now? If 'Yes', why? If 'No', why?
6. What can you do to develop your passion for learning?

I understand Passion For Learning by getting a passion like for example , Reading is my Passion.
ReplyDeletePassion means that we could aim to acheive your passion in many different ways like visiting the nearest library to your house because when you read you could find many different kind of idioms that you don't know and you can learn from there.
I think is necessary to have passion for learning because they can learn new things which they don't know .
Yes. My family member, my sister. She's good at Singing . She love to sing, everytime she go out with her friends, she would bring her IPod so that she could memorize the song inside the IPod . She memorize about aready half[1/2] of the whole entire IPod songs. (:
Hope i can be like her. Haha.
They try to practice their passion. After maybe about half a year, they could be aready an expert in their passion.
Maybe Yes. I love to Sing. (: I want to fufil my passion by learning new songs and memorize the lyrics!
I could maybe dowload some songs in the Internet of get from my friends or sister to learn more about the song and memorize it.

ReplyDeletePassion For Learning is something that intrest you and something that you would put all your effort to do it.
For me, I love to bake. Baking cookies or pasteries are my interest. Other than baking, I love to give people surrounding me suprises. I would love to see a beautiful smile on their face. I feel that by doing that, people would be happy! I also love to listen to all kinds of music and singing with them makes me feel so great, so wonderful!
Unlike me, my sister, she loves to design. She is very good in art and her talent does not only apply in school art but in media design. She can edit her pictures and make them as perfect as possible. She also designs background for handphones.She uploaded them and many people had downloaded it! Although she is not as good in her studies, I believe that she would be successful one day.
People have different interests. I feel that they enjoy doing things which are all different from others. We may not have the same interst but we can join in the fun!
I would learn more receipes from my relatives. They are all helpful and they are very supportive. I could sing along with the music i listen and i would give more surprises!

3. Yes, my family member, my younger sister is good in drawing and she got "Champion Trophy" in the drawing competition at her level.
4. My sister show her passion for learning by practice drawing and learn drawing by the books she bought.
5. Yes beacause I am interested in learning something new and work hard for achieve high mark in my study.
6. I could study hard and listen to teacher in class everytime. I could achieve my target by doing the works.

I think it is necessary for people to have a passion for learning as it gives a meaning to our lives and moves us forward towards our goals.
My second sister is very good in art. She likes to design different kinds of clothes and fashion. Now when she just graduated and now she is planning to go into an art course in poly. I think she has the Passion for Learning in art.
I do not have the Passion for Learning anything at the moment, but perhaps I will in future. I will take my time to explore all the possibilities and hopefully I will find something that I like to do.
I can learn to try out different types of activities and find new hobbies.
That is all.
Passion for learning means you always want to learn and find out new and diferrent things. Just like Albert Einstien. He got too curious that he got kick out of school just for asking too much unecessary questions. It is important for us to have the passion for learning, it is because without it, we will be very dumb. you will just be stuck in one place and not progresing in life. I have a passion to learn new things because I fell quite bored doing the same thing ordinary. I hoped all of you will have a passion to learn something new.

ReplyDeleteIt is necessary because they know that they can achieve on becoming what they want or doing good in what they do.
My eldest sister.She likes to sing just like Chloe's sister! My sister listens to songs most of the time. She sings along to the song that she listens to. She knows at least memorized the lyrics of at least 7 songs or more.
My sister practices to the songs she likes and she tried to get to the high notes too! Hahaha.
My passion is singing and maybe a little bit of drawing.I love to draw AND sing. It is what I love to do.
I could draw more pictures by books or just create my own design. For singing, I could do what my sister does, practice songs and remembering some of my favourite songs' lyrics.

These are my answers bellow:
'Passion for learning' means that you want to achieve your success by putting in all your effort.
It is necessary for people to have a passion for learning becuase they wish to succeed their dreams.
I only know my best cousin of all has the passion for learning. She has no talent at all but have she have a passion for learning for all subjects by pushing her up her effort to score a good marks for her exams.
As for my family, no one have a passion for learning but only me! I'm the only and the eldest daughter. My two brothers are younger then me.
As for my younger brother, he is down symdrowm. But maybe he have a passion for learning in trying to talk like us. If you want to know how old is he, he is one years younger than us. That means he is going to be 10 on 26 of March. This is not a joke.
My youngest brother of all, he is very playful and naughty. He has no passion for learning at all! Anyway, he's just 5 years old.
So what is my passion for learning is Singing, Swimming and Mathematics. Singing is my most number one passion for learning as I love music (that's why I join band). When I was in Primary 3, I join the choir. I go through the choir exams until Primary 4 as the choir is no more. I was terribly sad about that. Although there is no more Choir, I still love Music. As for Swimming, I am amming for silver this year. I practice and practice and practice and go for lessons every Sunday. I'm not sure when is the Swimming's Silver exam is when, but I know is this year. For Maths, I am trying to get full marks this year. I am very weak in the multiply for the Fractions. I hope I could understand more on it.
